Upright - Falling in love with either a person, place or object. Attraction.

Reversed - Falling out of love, or finding something previously cherished now distasteful.

Upright - For one client it symbolised her continuing *romance* with a painting in an art gallery, while for another it was literally a spark of love which flew the night she met the man she went on to marry.

Reversed - Aversion. I saw this clearly for one client who had *fallen out of love* with his wife and no longer found her attractive in any way at all. Many years of arguing and contention had eroded the bond between them.
